Terms of Use

Last updated: October 28, 2026

These terms set out responsible use of Wezetor. They do not guarantee legal compliance or replace advice from a qualified lawyer.

1. Acceptance and eligibility

These Terms of Use govern access to Wezetor and its session replays, heatmaps, visitor analytics and live visitor streaming (the Service). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, stop using the Service. You must be legally able to enter a binding agreement. If you act for an organization, you must have authority to bind it.

2. Your account and website authorization

Provide accurate account information, keep your sign-in credentials secure and promptly report suspected unauthorized access through Let's Talk. You are responsible for activity you authorize through your account. Install tracking only on websites you own or are explicitly authorized to manage. Verifying a tracking snippet confirms installation; it does not establish ownership or legal permission to track visitors.

3. Visitor privacy, notices and consent

You are responsible for determining the lawful basis for collecting and using visitor data, providing clear privacy and tracking notices, and obtaining any required consent before recording begins. Comply with applicable privacy, cookie, communications and consumer-protection laws, including GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA and India's applicable data-protection requirements where they apply. Honor consent withdrawals, opt-outs and applicable visitor rights.

Configure recording behavior, consent settings, text masking, form masking and private-section exclusions for your website. Default masking and consent tools are safeguards, not a guarantee of legal compliance or complete removal of personal information. Test your actual pages, including dynamic content, before capture. Do not capture passwords, payment-card details, financial account information, health information, government identifiers or other sensitive data. Do not disable safeguards in a way that exposes such information. Do not record children unlawfully or use the Service for covert surveillance.

Changes to recording privacy settings apply to subsequent page loads, not retroactively to stored recordings. Pause recording if you suspect unintended capture, restrict access to affected data and contact us. A Terms of Use page is not a substitute for your own privacy notice or any data-processing agreement legally required for your use.

4. Permitted use and prohibited conduct

Use the Service only for lawful website analysis and improvement. Do not sell, publicly expose or misuse identifiable visitor recordings; attempt to re-identify protected visitors; harass, discriminate against or unlawfully profile people; or infringe others' privacy or intellectual-property rights. Do not upload malicious code, bypass limits or access controls, scrape private accounts, interfere with the Service or use it to track websites without permission. Access to recordings must be limited to authorized people with a legitimate need.

5. How recordings and analytics work

Session replays reconstruct website activity from recorded page events; they are not webcam recordings or videos of a visitor's entire device. Live streaming reconstructs website activity as events arrive and may be delayed or interrupted. Heatmaps, traffic attribution and frustration signals are estimates based on available samples; suspected dead clicks and other signals are not definitive findings. Browsers, blockers, network conditions, website changes and privacy settings can affect capture and playback. Do not rely on these outputs as the sole basis for high-stakes or legally significant decisions.

6. Plans, usage and payments

Plan availability and usage limits are shown on the Pricing and Plan & billing pages. Published subscription prices are currently placeholders until confirmed; these terms do not activate a paid subscription or authorize payment collection. Any actual purchase must disclose the price, billing period, applicable taxes, renewal terms and cancellation arrangements before you agree. Payment availability depends on a connected payment service.

Live visitor streaming is available only on Platinum and carries an additional $20 per visitor session watched live. Review the confirmation before starting a session; the usage log shows recorded costs, not proof that payment has been collected. Subscription cancellation and refunds are subject to the terms disclosed at purchase and any mandatory consumer rights. Price or limit changes must be disclosed before they apply to a future paid period.

7. Your data and our intellectual property

As between you and Wezetor, you retain your rights in website content and data you lawfully provide. You grant only the rights needed to capture, store, process and display that data to operate the Service for you. You remain responsible for having the permissions required for that processing. Wezetor's branding, software and other original materials remain the property of their respective rights holders. You may use the Service within these terms, but do not redistribute or misuse its branding or proprietary materials.

8. Security, retention and third-party services

No online service can guarantee absolute security or uninterrupted access. Maintain your own necessary records and do not treat Wezetor as your only backup. Retention and access may depend on service availability and your plan; no indefinite retention period is promised here. Contact us about deletion, export or a privacy incident. We will handle requests subject to applicable law and technical capabilities, without promising an unimplemented export or deletion feature.

Website platforms, identity providers and any payment services have their own terms and privacy practices. Their availability and behavior are outside Wezetor's control. Additional privacy disclosures and a data-processing agreement may be necessary for your particular deployment.

9. Suspension and termination

We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to address abuse, security risks, legal requirements or material breaches of these terms. Where practical and lawful, we will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue. You may stop using the Service and remove the snippet from your websites at any time; removing it does not itself delete existing data or cancel a paid subscription. Contact us for account closure or applicable cancellation procedures. Mandatory rights and obligations that must survive termination remain in effect.

10. Service disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided as available without guarantees of uninterrupted service, complete capture, exact analytics, commercial results or suitability for your particular purpose. We do not provide legal advice or certify your compliance. Nothing in these terms excludes any warranty or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Wezetor is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits or opportunities arising from use of the Service. Liability that can legally be limited is capped at the fees you paid for the Service in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. This limitation does not apply to fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that applicable law prohibits limiting. These terms do not eliminate legal risk or override mandatory protections.

11. Responsibility for third-party claims

To the extent permitted by law, you are responsible for reasonable third-party claims and costs arising from your unauthorized tracking, unlawful use of visitor data or material breach of these terms. This does not shift responsibility for Wezetor's own misconduct to you. We will notify you of a relevant claim and reasonably cooperate; no settlement may impose obligations on you without your agreement.

12. Changes, disputes and contact

We may update these terms and will display the updated date. Material changes affecting ongoing use will be communicated where reasonably practicable; paid terms should not be changed retroactively. If you disagree, stop using the Service and contact us about any active subscription. Disputes should first be raised through Let's Talk for a good-faith attempt at resolution. Applicable law and competent courts determine unresolved disputes; these terms do not impose mandatory arbitration or remove statutory consumer protections. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply where lawful.

For questions about these terms, privacy concerns or service-related complaints, use the Let's Talk contact form. The operating entity, business address, jurisdiction-specific disclosures and any required data-processing agreement must be confirmed by the operator before commercial launch.
